...the second and final RR contest, the
Illustration Contest!That's right, some of my storytellers got a taste of victory (and there will be obviously more updates on those lovely winners coming shortly...), my hardcore artist-folk can now get down in the Illustration Contest!
I know you guys want the bare necessities, so lemme break it to you quick:
PRIZEZ1st Place Winning Illustrator-Your piece right in front of the beginning of the book!
-Door-sized fresh Wall Scroll of your favorite Rat Rage character (you'll obviously have to let me know who your favorite character is), signed by yours truly!
-A Copy of the Rat Rage OGN when it releases
-Prints of all the Guest Illustrations (won't be printed any other time!)
-Credited on the piece in the book
-And what the heck, let's make this a good incentive for that 1st place winner: a free $100!
2nd Place Winning Illustrator-Your piece in the back of the book after the end!

There's also a chance for everyone to get in the "Fanart" section of the book!
RULEZ-You know the deal: Make an illustration as tight as you possibly can! DRAW WHOEVER YOU WANT, AS MANY AS YOU WANT FROM RR! Full color will get you far, so if you can't color, you can collab' with a colorful friend! If you can't draw, you can draw yourself closer to a friend who can!
-You don't have to stick close to my style of drawing the RR crew at all! But if you want to, there's no shame in that either (it's actually a compliment, hehe)! Just have fun with and make it stand out amongst a crowd!
-No pornographic content will be accepted, of course! This is a PG-13 book! (Sorry again, furry fetish'd folk...)

This is important and key to getting in the Graphic Novel! MAKE SURE THE FILE SIZE IS 10x15 inches, at 300 DPI! Not having this size and format can have a huge damper on you getting picked, even if you have the best illo out there.-Doesn't matter how you submit the piece. As long as you join the
group as a member and submit it to the group's "Illustration Contest" folder, you'll be fine.
-Winners of the Character Creation contest can enter as well, but you will overall be looked over secondly compared to newcomers, so there's still a chance for you to win!
JUDGINGZJudging will be done by myself, as well as
&
. 10 people's works will be selected out of all as the top illos. The people will judge the rest! That's right, there will be a 15-day poll as to who will come out on top. If you want people to root for you, you can make journals and such to do so.
Also,
don't try to make multiple accounts to up your polls. That doesn't even work here. dA keeps track of ridiculous multiple accounts being made by the same IP addy and will ban you for doing that alone. But again, you can have your friends root for you.
